'07 GMC Acadia


The 2007 GMC Acadia is GM’s first attempt at a car type SUV. With seating for eight, it is spacious and functional at the same time.

The Acadia comes in two different trim packages: the SLE and the SLT. GMC only offers one powertrain choice: the 275 horsepower V6 engine combined with a 6 speed automatic transmission.

Seven passenger seating is standard. Eight is optional. The standard model comes with second row bucket seats and a third row bench. The second row 3 passenger bench seat is optional. GM utilizes its SmartSlide feature on the 2nd row bucket seats. This features flip forward bottom cushions and backrests that slide, allowing easier access to the third row seating.

Safety features include an antiskid system with rollover sensors and ABS. Two wheel drive models also come with traction control. Front side airbags are standard, as are the side curtain airbags give protection to all three seating rows and have rollover deployment.

Optional features on the 2007 GMC Acadia includes a DVD system, navigation system, rear obstacle detection, remote engine start and a sunroof with rear glass panel.

2007 GMC Acadia

The 2007 GMC Acadia is a brand new crossover sport utility vehicle from GM which is the first front-wheel-drive passenger vehicle ever made as well as their first crossover sport utility vehicle ever made.

The engine choice for the 2007 GMC Acadia is a 3.6L V-6 wish 275HP and 251FTLB of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission coupled with either a front-wheel-drive or an optional four-wheel-drive powertrain sitting on 119” wheel-base tires. The EPA has estimated the Acadia to obtain 18mpg around the city and up to 26mpg on the highway.

The Acadia is comes with a standard seating capacity of eight-passenger SUV that can tow up to 4,500 pounds making this Acadia one of the most powerful crossover sport utility vehicles ever.
